Job Description

Dr. Elizabeth Goldstein (Dept. of Religious Studies) is working on a new book, Women in the Jewish Traditions, for a series on women in different religious traditions for an academic press. The job of the student researcher is to assess articles and books for their relevance to the book project. Additionally, the student researcher should conduct her or his own searches for relevant materials. Some editing and proof reading of the manuscript will also be required. Students who are interested in the intersection between Religion and Women’s Studies, Jewish Studies and Women’s Studies, or History and Women’s Studies might be good candidates for this job. However, if you have no background in these areas but like to research and consider yourself well organized, you may also be a good fit for the position.
